G-g-grandmother, Mary Scheible, daughter of Johann & Katherine (Eisele) Scheible, born New York state in 1853; married John J Helm in Racine, Wisconsin, 1871. Had three sons that I know of, Joseph Frederick, George, and Edward (might be James Edward). Mary's husband died of cancer, so in 1883 she remarried Henry D. Harbour.
I have seen many mispellings of Scheible: Shibley, Shebley, Sheibly, Szible. If any of this rings a bell, and you have more information, I'd love to hear from you. Thanks!
