Sheibel Canada 1853

A little note, written on the back of a wedding card, was found in my grandmother's "antique" pitcher recently:
"Little Germany near Waterloo Canada
Aunt Elizabeth SCHREIBER SHEIBEL 1853- 1944"
It's not completely clear what those dates represent, the earlier might actually refer to the wedding date. And since the note was not written by Elizabeth herself, it is possible that the Sheibel name was misspelled.
My g.grandfather Schreiber was born in Preston, 1864, but he had no sibling named Elizabeth, so this must have been his aunt or cousin. His father's wedding notice says he was "of Toronto" (although he was born in Offenburg Ger.).
"Little Germany" must be near Kitchener? Anyone have more clues? Thank you.
