My family dates from 1732 in Knox County, Maine. Elizabeth Killpatrick (Shibles) had a son, John born in 1732. The there is no record of the father, thought to be John, and I wonder if anyone knows of a Shibles, Schaible, Schiebel, Schieble or anyther varient of the name in the US dating back pre 1732.
