Looking for ancestors of Johan Scheffer. Had two sons (perhaps they were brothers of Johan instead),that stayed in Holland. One of them did something to disgrace the family so Johan left with his daughters and changed their names when they got to America. The daughters were: JOHANNA "HANNA" SMIT
MAGDALENA "LENA" ANDRIANNA SMIT
CORNELIA "CORA" ELIZABETH SUZANNA SMIT
Hanna, Lena and Cora all married.
Have more info. Relatives found in the Dakotas, Nontana, Nevada.
