The Loudonville Times 22 October 1964 pg 3 col 7 Richard B. Schaub Richard B. Schaub, 54, a lifelong resident of Greer, was killed instantly Tuesday morning, Oct. 13, when his car struck a metal light pole on the ceneter strip of US 62, two and one tenth miles east of canton. Schaub was alone in the car and apparently fell asleep while driving, according to massilon State Highway Patrol. He was born Jan. 30, 1910, the son of Henry and Louisa (Temple) Schaub of Greer. He leaves his wife Lottie A. Schaub; his father; five daughters, Mrs. Louisa Ward of Greer, Rosalie Wilson of Mount Vernon, Mrs. Mary Durbin of Danville, Sharon and Linda both at home; five sons, Charles of Pavonia, Paul of Greer, James of Norfolk, Va., Robert and Michael, both at home; and 18 grandchildren. Also surviving are two brothers, Henry of Loudonville and Cornelius of Cambridge; and five sisters, Mrs. Iva Brucks, Mrs. Ellen Buettner, Mrs. Veronica Linn, and Miss Mary Schaub, all of Cleveland, and Mrs. Odessa Kanuckle of Howard. Funeral services were held at 2p.m Friday at the Dustheimer Funeral Home, Danville, conducted by Rev. Leroy Wilcox. Burial was in Wesley Chapel. Notify Administrator about this message?
