I spoke to my Aunt Mary today, and I was able to confirm that Mary Klee's name is pronounced 'Clay'. She was totally unaware of Adam, and Sophia Schalz.

Insofar as getting any more family history from living individuals, I have one last chance with my Grandmother, and I intend to pursue this in the near future. I will post a followup when I see her.

If anyone here has a specific request for Schalz, or Klee, I can peruse the records at the Michigan State Library. seeing as it's only 5 minutes away. As for actual copies of records, I can also do that as well.

Thank you Mr. Lehmann. Without your original post, I would have had a very difficult time discovering this info.
