Adolph/Margaret Jane (b. 1860)

I am interested in any information on Adolph Schatz, my great-great grandfather. Family legend has it that he skipped ship in NYC around the mid 1800's. I found an Adolph on a ship manifest as legally entering in 1860 from Hamburg. Adolph married Mary Dignam in NYC and they moved to Kansas. I've found Mary buried in Kansas but can't find Adolph. I did find a death notice from the St Loius Post Dispatch for an Adolph who died in 1910, but different wife named and different children. The Adolph I'm looking for had a daughter Margaret Jane Schatz (b. 1860 died 1948, buried in Santa Maria, California).

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Cindy Hall
