My great grandmother's name was Bertha Schaldach. She was possibly from Prussia. The information that I have says that her husband Karl Plewe was probably from Prussia. She had two sisters--Hulda, who married Karl Phillips and moved to Delavan, WI--and Marie, who never married. She moved to Chicago. Bertha also had a brother, but I don't his name or any information about him. My grandfather, Kurt Plewe, came to Delavan, WI from Danzig, Germany (which is now Gdansk, Poland) in 1910 or 1912. He was 18 at the time. Do you think there is any connection with Schaldach family?

Diane
