I sent you a recent email. I believe this is my grandmothers mother. I have some information but not much. The Augusta I am researching lived in New Orleans in 1890. Her daughter from her first marriage to William Grun (Green) went to live with her husband. Augusta wrote a letter to her papa in Campbell Court House, Campbell County, Virginia in 1878. The letter is addressed to F. Schaible. I cannot make out the first name. But when she wrote this letter, she mailed it from Lynchburg, PA, post office stamped in Philadelphia. on January 7. In 1890 she wrote another letter to her sister (?) saying she was preparing to marry John ___y. I could not make out the last name, but your post fits Erny. I hope this is a first link to much more information to come.
