Looking for family tree information on the Stefan Schaff family which resided in Silesia in the mid-1800s, village of Hennersdorf Kreis Grottgau. Stefan had several older brothers with higher educations. Stefan was a produce basket maker. The Neisse River was the source of reeds for the basket business, which was located on the east side of the Neisse River. Stefan was marrried to Therese Weber, and had five children, Joseph, Therese, August, Alois, and Agnes. Agnes' married name was Agnes Schaff Vogler (married to Franz Vogler and had four or five sons). One of August's sons, Herbert, died Christmas Eve 1999 in Lichtenwald,Vernau,Germany. My maternal Grandfather was Alois.
