Her mother Mary( Blindt) Brown was my grandmother, Louise Lena (Blindt) Phillips sister. They had a brother John and another sister Ann (Blindt) Krahmer. They were Born in Galena, Il., to John and Katharine (Horner or Hoerner) Blindt. Kathryn Schaff lived at 806 Burcham St., Kelso, Wash,98626. I would like to hear from a relative of Kathryn's if possible. I am trying to find more info on John and Katharine(Hoerner) Blindt. I do know that Johann(John) Michael Blindt was confirmed on April 4, 1875 in Galena, Il. Katharine Louise Horner or Hoerner came to the USA at age 17 yrs.I found this note dated 2-7-1980, written to Louise Phillips from Kathryn Shaff, confirming her mothers'death, who was Mary (Blint) Brown. Marys' husband was John Brown. Hope some relatives will come forward with some info. Thanks. Margie Snyder, granddaughrt of Louise Phillips.
