I have found out that schaar is a militant family from Hanover, Germany. MY uncle also told me that wayyyyyyy back two brothers split the family. One took the original name (Schaar), and one took on a new name (Shire) (I believe that is how it is spelled). I do not know the terms or the reasons why they split. I am searching for info on our early family history. I believe that if your name is Schaar, we are all related somehow. Please, if you have info, please let me know. THANKS for the read. Brandon S.
