Well I would like to thank you for your response to my email. I was hoping to find out a little more about my family. My parents divorced when I was a year old so i don't know very much about my history. My son Alexander is the last male heir to carry on the Schaar name in my family, because my father has no brothers. So how are you related to me? If we are talking about the same Chet Schaar, you would know that he had a wooden leg, because my father accidently shot him in the leg when they were hunting. I wojuld be interested in some nmore information on my family if you have any. I know that my father resided in Coleman growing up with his family, cause that is where my father met my mother. My father was a cop for in Coleman but he was actually employed through Claire county. I know that he now works for Dow Chemical in Midland Michigan. But like I said before we dont have a very close relationship, so he's not a real good source of information for me. But I would appreciate it if you could give me any information.
