Ludwig and Christian were sons of Phillip and Charlotte. All four of them are on the same stone. Henry was a brother of Phillip and Henrietta (Hidde)was Henry's wife. The two stones between the stones for Phillip and Henry are for Wilhelmina Schulze (wife of August Hidde) and August Hidde. These two are probably the parents of Henrietta. Katharine Schaar (mother of Phillip) is buried in the cemetery located between I-94 and the North Frontage Road, west of Neal Avenue in West Lakeland Township, Washington County, Minnesota. According to probate records at the Minnesota Historical Society, Michael (the father) died in the old country. Katharine's stone is misspelled Shar. The family was: Phillip married Charlotte Kunz or Kuntz, Louisa married Phillip Kunz, Henry married Henrietta Hidde, Charlotte married Ludwig Jacobi and Elisabeth married Henry Trost. The Kunz family has at least two infants buried in the same cemetery as Katharine Schaar. The Kunz family left for Germany in the early 1880s and didn't plan on returning. My wife (Muriel Schaar) is a grandaughter of Henry Schaar.
