Scattergood & Pancoast Family

When researching the Pancoast family I found that William Pancoast, son of John & Elizabeth Pancoast of Ashton, Northampshire, England, married Hannah Scattergood, dau. of Thomas Scattergood & Elizabeth Jarvis both from parish of Stepney, London, England.
Thomas & Elizabeth had 7 children and settled in West Jersey from the Parish of Stepney, London, England about 1677. In that year they settled on a 160 arce farm on Craft Creek about one mile west of Columbus in Burlington County, New Jersey. Their plantation adjoined Percivall Towels's "Sutton Lodge" from whom Thomas bought 100 arces in 1686. William Pancoast & Hannah Scattergood were married Sept. 1, 1695 in Burlington County, Monthly Meeting, New Jersey
