Visit with the Scarabin family

Jason, Carolyn and I visited your grandparents in Venice La.about 25 years ago. There had been a hurricane in the recent past and they were living in a mobile home because, according to Louis, their house was about 40 miles away in the salt marsh, due to the storm. He had a brother that lived near by. There was a son living with them who favored Carolyn's brother very much. He had a bad leg or maybe it was a foot. Mrs Scarabin said that they had an older son who had married a morman and joined the Morman Church. Would this be your parents? Your grandparents were very hospitable and made us feel at home. The town in France that the Scarabin family came from was St. Malo in Brittany, right on the coast.
