Daniel Scanlon of Baltimore was married to Catherine (?). Catherine McNamee.
I have a faded baptismal document from 1936 which reads:
'Elizabeth Scanlon, daughter of Daniel Scanlon and Catharine McNamee, was born in Baltimore, Md. Sept. 19,866 and was baptized Sept. 30, 1866, the sponsors bring John Devine and Johana (the next few words are not legible because of a fold and scotch tape). J.McDevitt.
I certify that the above is an extract from baptismal register held at St. Joseph’s Church, 115 W. Lee St., Baltimore,.

Nov. 10, 1936.' Top left is an imbossed seal from the church.
You refer to the 1870 census,Elizabeth was my grandmother.
