Hi Gerard,

Yesterday while looking through some records I spotted that Elenora Scanlan,11 years and Delia Anna Scanlan, 39 yrs (registered in Scariff Registration District) emigrated from Southampton and arrived in New York on 6 December 1919 aboard the Lapland.
I am afraid I can't help you with the Peter and Patrick Scanlan question. I am helping Tony O'Sullivan to try and trace another Peter Scanlan - Peter Scanlan who was married to Eliza Crotty of Killaloe, Co. Clare. They owned Crottys Italian Warehouse - one of the biggest shops in Killaloe in its day. The Crotty Scanlans, as they later became known, also owned Abbey House in Killaloe.
