I have an original studio photograph which states on the back “Delila Scanlan (Mrs. James) – her daughters were Ethel Scanlan Cullen and Nellie Scanlan”. I would like to get this photo back to family members. Photo was taken in about the 1880s, in Dayton (Yamhiill Co.) OR, and Delila looks to be about 20-25.
I found James Scanlan and family in the 1900 census for Dayton (Yamhill Co.) OR. James was 43, born May 1857; Delilah was 40, born May 1860. Children were Ethel, Nov 1883; and Nellie, Sep 1886. By 1920, James W. and Delilah Scanlan lived in Coloma (Whiteside Co.) IL.
