Alfred Scaife was born in October 1869. He married Sarah Ellen Russell. He worked for Lord and Lady Faversham at their Dunscombe Estate. He was a herdsman. They moved to Worcestershire and then on to Burry Port in Carmarthenshire. They had nine children. Alfred Edgar Scaife born January 1899 was my grandfather. If anybody would like to find out about his branch of the family, please get in touch. I would like to find out about older ancestors if possible.
