I am descended from Mary Frances Scahill and Fenton Emory Dooley and am very excited to see your posting. I know very little about Mary, except I have her dates as 1851-1899. According to the 1880 census, she was born in England (?). Her mother Anna is listed as living in the household and born in Ireland. Emory and Mary lived in Coatesville, PA, at least after the Civil War. Emory and Mary Dooley had children: Carolyn (1871-1952, married John HURLEY); Lawrence (1872); Emory Fenton (1874-1882); Martin (1876-1944); Stephen J. (1878-1959); Ann Mary (1880-1967); Francis X. (1882-1961); Emory Vincent (1884-1959). I am descended from Emory Vincent (my grandfather). I have a little more on Dooley descendents, but you are the first link I've found to the Scahills.
