Hi, my 4th great-grandfather was Samuel Harris from Union Co. SC as well. He is not your Samuel, although there easy to confuse because they were about the same age and lived in Union about the same time. My Samuel came to Union Co. SC from Buckingham Co. VA about 1792 with his wife Tryphena. My family has lived there ever since. I grew up there myself. I now live in Lebanon,TN. Where might I ask are you located? Anyway's I've often wondered if there was a connection to your Samuel. Has anyone from your line ever taken a DNA test through familytreedna? I have and belong to group 27. I strongly recommend you check out there website at familytreedna.org and join the Harris DNA Group at harrisdna.org.
