John Thorn b. ca 1820 SC / Rebecca Cox Allen

On the 1850 census for Spartanburg Co, SC, John Thorn is listed under E. Cox F 60 Head of Household, with wife, B., age 20.

Next door is John Allen 35, wife Rebecca Cox 30, and children.

I'm trying to find the parents of Rebecca/Beckie Cox Allen and believe the above E. Cox could have been her mother, and Thorn's wife, B., age 20, is Beckie's sister.

I know nothing about this E. Cox and John Thorn. Can anyone fill in the blanks or help with family of Rebecca/Beckie Cox Allen, b 1820 SC?

John and Beckie Cox Allen moved from SC to Red Bay, Franklin Co., AL in 1854, when Beckie gives birth to a son, Willis Pinckney Allen, enroute to AL and she dies shortly thereafter.

Appreciate any help you can provide. John and Beckie Allen are my great grandparents.
