Hello,

I'm familar with the Pickens Sentinel and do alot of research. The paper goes back to 1876 to present (of course there are a few missing issues.) The main branch of the Pickens County,SC. Library has these on mirofilm where you can view and make copies. Are you local? If not if you'd like and send the name and death date I'd be willing to look up for you.
Note in Old days the obituaries were not all together on one page like now. I've found them from front page headlines to end of paper. I live in Easley and close to the library and enjoy research, nearly complete with mine.
