CLARK/MILLER, Early 1800s, Pickens Co.

I'm searching for the parents and other family of Ruth A. CLARK. Her mother was a MILLER and the MILLER family was related to Pres. John ADAMS. Ruth was born 9-30-1814 in Pickens Co, SC (then Pendleton Dist). She m. Fenton B. HALL b. 10-15-1807 in Anderson Co, SC. Fenton HALL's family was formerly of Halifax Co, VA, and Ruth CLARK's family might also have been -- that's speculation at this point.

Ruth and Fenton were proud of the MILLER name and used it as middle names for three of their 12 children. Their children were: Andrew Jackson "Jack" who m. Valeria "Valley" HUNTINGTON; Clark, Clint (twin); Matthew (twin); Eliza who m. Richard DELMONT; Elizabeth "Lizzie" who m. John Warren; Florence; Jette (female); Mary M.; Pemelia; Palina; and Virgil Miller who m. Sarah Jane "Sallie" TIGRETT. (They were my great great grandparents.)

Ruth CLARK and Fenton HALL moved to Tippah Co, MS in the early 1840s (later Alcorn Co,
MS). Any help is greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Becky
