Starting Sept. 5, 2014, Genealogy.com will be making a big change. GenForum message boards, Family Tree Maker homepages, and the most popular articles will be preserved in a read-only format, while several other features will no longer be available, including member subscriptions and the Shop.

Where might I find out exactly where my grandfather was born. The following is all the information I have.
William James Frady
born: 1846
In application for Civil war pension (4TH S.C. Cavalry Co.C) He stated when asked where he was born," At the bottom of the Ocanee mountain". I woul appreaciate any help I can get. Time is growing short for completing my quest. His only surviving son is 93 yrs. and I would like to find as much about the father he has very little information on.

Bill Frady
