Was Hoping to find someone out there who has researched the Gunter family in Pickens County.
I am interested in the family of NANCY GUNTER b. 1814 Pickens, S.C. died after 1900 Pickens Co. but I have no idea where she is buried. Nancy had children but never had a husband living in her household in any of the census'.
Children are
PERRY GUNTER b. Jan 1841
SARAH ANN GUNTER b. Dec 1845 d.April 13, 1925 Pickens Co. married WARREN ALEXANDER DUNCAN.
MCDUFFIE GUNTER Abt. 1852
MARGARET GUNTER Abt. 1853
JOHN W. GUNTER Abt. 1858
ANDREW GUNTER Abt. 1850
GEORGE W. GUNTER b. Dec 1859
On the 1860 Pickens County Census Nancy has a JANE PARK and Janes two daughters living in the household with her. Were they related?
NANCY GUNTER was the sister of JOHN GUNTER b. 1801 Pickens Co.area. JOHN was married to MARGARET PRATER b. 1804/05
Would appreciate any info anyone might have on this family.
