Gilliam/Gillham Family

Looking for information on who might be the parents of George Gillham, who claimed he was born in Pickens District, SC, in 1833, on his Civil War pension papers. George seems to be a popular name in this line. Believe he may be a descendant of Thomas Gillham, Rev. War. soldier but may not be. George's wife may have been a Barrett. Please e-mail me at cunan@netdoor.com as I do not return to the message boards every day or week.
