Dear Eileen,
Thank you so much for answering so promptly. Yes I am related to this family. Charity and her parents are also on the 1870 census for Pickensville, Pickens, county,SC. Charity is 13 years old. The family number on that census is 273. Charity and her four children are on the 1880 census for Easley,Pickens,SC. They are also on the 1900 census for Liberty,SC, Pickens County under the name Bowen.
George Bowen and his wife Charity along with Henry 13, Charlie 22, Emma 17, Caroline 15 (my relative), Berry 12,and Governor 4,( is listed as son but, I think he is a grandson) and Alma 1 (also a grandchild. This family is listed as #124.
If you have any further info on the leland family, please let me know. Thank you. Patsy
