Very much like to get ahold of anyone, who might be related,
to the following. My name is C Carter,My mother is Judy
Ruth Lewis she married Lawerance Edwin Belding(both are still living) My grandparent's on my mother's side adopted
me. There name's are Glenn Robert Lewis and Opel Rosaline
Spencer. My Grandma's parent's were Ruth Vashti Chapman
and Joseph Alexander Spencer from Holt Mo. Ruth's first
marriage however was to a Tillaman Houston Owen from
Wolf Mt. NC., Ruth's parent's were Josiah "Bud" Chapman Jr.
some have him listed as Joseph "Bud" Chapman but that is
incorrect. His name was Josiah. His wife was Laura D.Powell (her Parent's Millie Ann Patterson and Abraham Powell from Transylvania NC.)Josiah "Bud" Chapman Jr.
father was Josiah "Big Joe" Chapman Sr and Mother
Malinda Turner(B)1855 and(D)1921 Richland Co SC
at Columbia State Hospital. She is buried at Pickens co sc
Josiah "Big Joe" chapman Sr. Parent's are John Chapman
and Nancy Pulliam. John's first marriage was to a Christina Hubbard. My Probelm is locating info on Malinda
Turner's family. Malinda is also known as Belinda and
Linda. Her father is a Pick/Picken Turner (B)1810 NC
and died 1810 sc his first marriage i find is to a
Sally/Sarah Sizemore. They are listed living in the
Western Div. or Pickens Co SC. In 1850. But on the 1860
census it list him as A.P. Turner and Sarah Turner. I belive that these are the same People. I also find Pick
Living in 1830 in Greenville SC. According to both Census
records his children are as follows: Maria,Hannah,Ellen,
Marianna,Willam RD,Mary,Belinda,Elizabeth,Susan,Andrew.
Now on the 1830 census he is living by a Benjamin Turner,
Jonathan Turner,Samuel Turner,Sion Turner.(96th dist)
According to a Guion Miller Application that his son
John Andrew Turner/Andrew Turner filled out on his father Picken/Pick Turner. Pick was first married to a Sas A Size
More. That would go with the census. Sally/Sarah
then it list that Pick remarried to a Vinia Beardon/Bearden
Her mother listed as SuckY Bearon. A Brother John Beardon
and Sister Elizabeth Low/Lowe. Vinia died in 1872 SC.
It goes on to state that John Andrew Turner's brother's
and Sister's are as follow's: Malinda Turner/Chapman,
Elizabeth Turner/Chapman,George Thomas Turner. I don't know if John was a 1/2 brother to them or what.
I did find where it list that Susan Turner's father was
Picken Turner that she married a Andrew J Mathis in Jackson
Co. NC on6-2-1869. His parent's listed as James and Arte/arty. John Andrew Turner's (B)according to indian
application march 18,1889 Transylvania nc. his wife Etter
Unknown. during 1906 they are living in Oconee.
There children listed as : Minnie Lee Turner (B)april 18
1889 sc she married Edward Hopkins(Indian).
Samuel Turner,Julia Ann Turner,Thomas Turner.

Now here's some of the Turner's i have that ive been able
to locate that i know im related to: Willam Farely Turner,
Willam Orr Turner,George Washington Turner that married
Ida Lousie Vollrath,George Washington Turner who married
Eula Thompson.Sion Turner who married Mary Hart. Im supposedly related to over 1000
Turner's. My ???? however who is Pick/Pickens Parent's
i have not been able to locate who they are or what line
of Turner's Pick belonged to. Pick had also lived by
a Duke Willam Glenn of Picken's co sc/Greenville sc
and he owned slaves. he also lived by some other Turner's
and Sizemore and Beardon families. I've been trying to
make some kind of connection. So if anyone can help me out
on the Turner line's.,it would be greatly appreciated.

some of the line's im related to are Stewart,Patterson,Owen
Fisher,Galloway,Whitmire,Powell,,and to many to
actually list.

thanks in advanced-
