I am researching William Bagwell who may have been born in NC about 1805. He married Elizabeth?. He may have been married to someone else before her. On the 1870 census they lived in 10th District, Whitfield Co., GA. Children listed are: Anderson- 19, Henderson-18, Jefferson- 17, Jackson (his name was Andrew Jackson)- 15, John Q. A.- 12, Geo. W.- 8, Martha C.- 5, and Milton- 3. And all were born in SC. Jackson was born in Pickens, Pickens, SC in 1845. He moved to Blount County, TN between 1873-1877. He married Margaret Thompson. Their children were Lizzie, Charlie and Rosa. Jackson died in Dayton, OH in 1928. If anyone knows anything about this family, it would be greatly appreciated!
