New information indicates that Ruth Ann CLARK/E's mother was Amelia Monroe HOOPER who married John CLARK/E. Amelia was b. Feb 10, 1796 and she and John had 3 daughters whose names I have: Elizabeth W.; Ruth Ann; and Harriett Perry CLARK/E. [Apparently MILLER was incorrect for Ruth's mother's surname.] I'm now seeking further information on John CLARK/E. All I have is his name. He may be a grandson of Sir William CLARKE who resigned the British Navy to fight on the side of the colonists and rec'd an honorable mention at the Battle of Bunker Hill. [No further info on Sr. William] Any help is appreciated! Thanks! Becky
