Hal, This is what I know. In 1830, Levi is in Pickins Co. SC with wife, daughter, father(age 70-80)and 1 male age 10-15 and another male age 15-20. I am now guessing that these two boys may be his brothers, names unknown by me. His mother is not on the census. On Sept. 7, 1831 Levi sells land to John McWhorter. His wife Martha relinquishes interest Oct 1, 1831. Their daughter Mirium whose birthday is reported as January 1832 is born in Alabama. Levi Hendricks is listed as securities in the estate of Edmond Mayfield in Tuscaloosa Co 19, Dec 1833. There are Alabama land records for Levi from the land office in Tuscaloosa for 1834 and 1839. The 1840 Tuscaloosa Co. Census lists Levi age 30-40, Martha, age 30-40, and his 4 young daughters. There is no older male who could be his father found. I have not found any other info on Levi. His wife Martha married Simeon Berry in Tuscaloosa Co. Oct.5, 1848. They moved to Winston Co., MS Do you have any idea what the names of Levi's brother might be? There are many Hendricks in Tuscaloosa Co. and they often traveled in groups. If I can be of help, let me know. Sara
