I have a Clarissa King (maiden name unknown), wife of Stephen King. They lived in Pickens County from 1810 until their deaths in 1868. Their firstborn son was John T. King. We think the T. is for Terrell since he have a nephew, James Terrell King.
The reason for my posting is that you mentioned a Clarissa and a Terrell in the same sentence, and we are desperate to know about our Clara and her family.
Clarissa (Clara) ____ King was born around 1790. She was married by the 1810 census of Pendleton Dist. and living with her husband, Stephen King.
Do you know if I'm on the right track? Could my Clara be a Terrell? Any help is appreciated!
