I really have no information to share. I just thought ORR to be an unusual name and that is the name my great grandparents gave one of their sons, as a middle name. They were both born in Pickens county SC, married there in 1851 and in 1860 emigrated to GA (Forsyth and Faulkner CO.) Her parents,Jesse C Crenshaw and Elizabeth Gassaway also emigrated. I have never been able to establish parentage of Robert G. Smith.
I wish we had been able to help one another.
