My husband is a descendant of Elisha & Jemima (Heard) Dean > Bailey & Jemima (Norris)Dean. Elisha a son of Charles and Ursula (Marjoribanks/Marchbanks) Dean. Elisha born January 13,1766. Elisha is located in the SC census of: 1790 Laurens, 1800 Abbeville, 1810>1820 Pendleton, 1830>1840 Pickens, 1850 Attala County, MS where he died.
Elisha and Jemima known children are: (1)Elizabeth: 10/10/1792, (2)Tillman: 5/29/1798, (3)Joel: 11/18/1801, (4)Charley: 2/28/1803, (5)Ann "Annie": 7/15/1805, (6)James Madison: 2/25/1807, (7)Cashancy "Cassie": 7/5/1808, (8)Elisha Jr.: 8/27/1810, (9)Peggy: 11/27/1811, (10)Bailey: 2/14/1814, (Bailey married Matilda Norris in SC moving to Attala MS> Burleson & San Saba Co., TX> Indian Territory, Garvin County, OK. Bailey's burial at Antioch, Garvin County, OK.) (11)Emily: 4/28/1915, (12)Hariaiah M.: 12/3/1816, (13)John M.: 4/10/1818, and (14)Abner: 9/10/1819.
