Gutridge Locklear and Charity Grooms

I have 2 elusive ancestors who were listed on the 1790 Orangeburgh District census.

I have been lead to believe that Gutridge/Guthridge Locklear/Locklier is my GGGGG grandfather. If it's the same person, he was in Bladen County prior to Orangeburgh. I saw one transcribed document showing him in Greenville County, SC in 1789. I cannot find him on a census after 1790, but was recently told that he moved with a son, Stephen. I cannot find his children listed anywhere, but there may have been 6 sons and 3 daughters. Wife unknown.

Charity Grooms lived nearby him on the 1790 census and is believed to be the Charity that William "Locklair" married. They lived in Sumter, SC. William being Gutridge's son.

Bible records anyone? Any insight on these 2 would be VERY MUCH APPRECIATED!

Thanks,
Lisa
