Thanks, I will post these two children. David's brother and father operated Williamson's Mills in Lexington County and also the bridge over the N. Edisto River. It is not clear but appears that they also operated a bridge over the river in Orangeburg County also. This old home site in Lexington county is off Hwy #302 where the road crossed the river south of Pelion, SC on Cedar Creek Rd. I recently visited and found the foundation stones of the home and the well. This was the military staging grounds in 1836. This is noted in the book, "Random Recollections of A Long Life" by Edwin Joseph Scott. This book is for sale at the Lexington County Museum in Lexington, SC.
