I am also descended from John and William Gressett. I do not know where the men were buried. I know that John married into the German group (Susanna Elisabetha Fuchness) that settled Cattle Creek, SC.

In my attempts to join the D.A.R. based upon John's service in the Rev. War, I found that the person that completed the original line for the D.A.R. in 1916 listed William's name as the patriot. Do you have any documention, pension #s, muster list with Col. John Gressett listed?
