Stillinger - Stuhlinger Orangeburg, St. Matthews

We are searching for any information on the Stillinger families that settled and lived in Orangeburg, St.Matthews Parish areas in late 1700's, and early 1800's. The Stillinger are German-Swiss and emigrated from Switzerland and nearby areas of Germany.

Aw. Stillinger (Andreas/Andrew) 1765 wife unknown.
A. Stillinger b. ca 1765 wife name unknown
Daniel Stillinger b.1797, wife unknown, have found some descendants of Daniel.
David Stillinger b. ca 1810, wife unknown, have found some descendants of David.
Margaret Stillinger 1818 Tax records St. Matthews.
Other mentions of the name found in St. Matthews Church Records. (The Red Church).

It is believed the wives of both Daniel and David Stillinger had died young, and the children may have been raised by other families. These other families may have been Barber, Gates, MaGrill, Dantzler, Ott or Eades/Eads

Would also like to find where any of these older generations may have been buried.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Kenneth Stillinger
