Check out Paul Kankula's post at http://genforum.genealogy.com/sc/oconee/messages/620.html.

If nothing is found using the cemetery survey link he provided, the next best way to learn the place of burial is to get a copy of the death certicate. The place of interment is supposed to be filed out by the undertaker. And if you are lucky, it will also have the names of the parents.

The vital records web site is http://www.scdhec.net/administration/vr/death.htm
Note: Ignore the rules on who can apply. After 50 years anyone can apply.

The South Carolina Death Index lists the name as Roxie Moss, died 2/23/20 in Oconee County, at age 36.

Once upon a time you could get a non-certified copy of the old certificates from the South Carolina State Archives but they have changed their web pages and I can no longer find a link.
