Reed DNA for Upper South Carolina late 1700's

There are many, many Reeds/Reads/Reids in Upper South Carolina in the late 1700's. If you have Reed ancestors in this area in this time frame, please consider participating in the Reed DNA group study that is being conducted by FamilyTreeDNA.com. All you need to participate is a living, direct, male, Reed descendant who would be willing to donate an easily obtained DNA sample. Fees are nominal for the information obtained. Do contact FamilyTreeDNA.com for details. We are trying to group these different families.
