On 1 July 1826 Francis Kirby Sr., deeded to his "beloved son Oliver", 124 acres of his land on Mill Creek waters of Pacolet River, also one negro named Daniel, his cattle, horses, hogs, funiture, farm utensils, loom and his copper still. Union Co. SC Register Mesne Conveyance Book S, Pg# 336

I believe that the slave Daniel was the same (negro boy Daniel) that was given to Elizabeth Wright in her father's (John Wright) LWT

Union Probate File for Oliver Kirby: Oliver gives to sibling property that his father left him. It turns out that the land that is involved was conveyed to Stephen Kirby by Francis before he died. Stephen then conveyed it to John A. Black. Oliver's probate file list all of his brothers and sisters, they are listed below.
