1915 & 1917 Charlston Birth Certificates or announcements

Are there any resources for researching, finding and/or obtaining birth certificates for births in Charleston, SC in 1915 and 1917?

My great, great grandfather was in Charleston between the years of 1914 and 1919, approximately, working at the navy yard as a civilian contractor. He had two children born to his 2nd wife while there. I'm interested in tracking down the birth certificates. I have the exact date for the 1917 child but only an approximate date of 1915 for the first child.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
