Ispwich / Mass. ?1665/1675 I am looking for living descendants of Thomas Wilson. He was the son of Theophilus Wilson of Ipswich. He moved to the new settlement of Brookfield.Mass. with his daughter Mary Wilson , in abt. 1665. He was known by the Indians as "Major Wilson" In August of 1675 - a famous Indian Ambush occured at New Braintree -- called "Wheelers Surprise" this led to the 'Siege at Brookfield' by the Nipmuck Indians. A re-inactment of this historical event is being planned for in 2010 ...by the West Brookfield Historical Commission. To get further information about being a part of this event - either post a reply on this message board or contact me at [email protected] - Thanks. C.E. "Chuck" Prichard .....Interresting Thank you. Ann in Lockhart Texas [email protected] - NOTE: Did Mary Wilson ever get married?

Thomas Sr. was born 1699 and Thomas Wilson Jr. was born about 1735. The one marriage I have for Thomas Sr. was to Amy (Irvin) on March 4, 1727/1728, NOTE: but it is possible he was married before that time.1721? 1 Thomas WILSON, m. Ireland and SC 1739 Charles Wilson who came to South Carolina in 1772 aboard the ship "James and Mary" which sailed from Larne, Ireland. Charles was born in 1739 in Ireland. He had siblings already in South Carolina. The early Wilsons in South Carolina had large families. Many of which went west. Charles' father was John Wilson, who also had a large family. Among John's sons that came to South Carolina were John, William, Benjamin, Charles, James, Hugh, Thomas and maybe Samuel.... William Wilson was a surveyor for Craven County, South Carolina. He located many of his brothers and sisters in Craven County, South Carolina. William Wilson died in 1793 in South Carolina. I have concentrated on Charles descendants. I am the eighth generation from Charles. By 1850 children of these early South Carolinians had spred throughout the country. I do not have the names that you mentioned in my family tree. I suspect that they may be descended from one of these early South Carolinians.. NOTE: Who did Thomas marry and what were his children's names if he had any?
SC 1740 Re: John Wilson, Sr., c.1740, York & Pendleton, SC of 26816 In Reply to: Re: John Wilson, Sr., c.1740, York & Pendleton, GSC by Cliff Otos Posted by: Pat Wilson (ID *****1710) Date: December 31, 2005 at 16:05:39 / GENFORUM Hello, I am looking for the family of Thomas Wilson, SR. He was born abt 1750+/-. He married an unknown Hicks lady, sister of Chief Charles R. Hicks and had one son, Thomas Wilson, Jr.b.abt 1785. He married 2nd Betsy McCrary and had one son George W. Wilson, SR. b.abt 1790. Thomas had a 3 known son, John Wilson, AKA Conuluski, by and unknown lady. Thomas' son, George Wilson, SR, married Ruth Springston, a Cherokee lady. This is our line. Thomas was in TN in the early 1800's as he is on a land deed listed with George, George SR, and Samuel Wilson. In a deed a few entrys below is an Asa Wilson with Betsy Wilson (prob. Thomas' wife) and Gideon Ragsdale. Gideon is married to Mary Artemesia Wilson, dau. of John Wilson and Elizabeth Hardin. By 1834 Thomas Sr is in GA. Thomas Wilson, SR has one known sister, Kayteeyeah Wilson, a wife of Chief Doublehead.(source:Chronicles of OK. Bird Doublehead interview). We believe at this time that John, Samuel, Asa, George and Thomas Wilson, SR are brothers, or brothers mixed with uncles, cousins etc. It is possible that one is there father. Kayteeyeah is the only known sister to Thomas SR. We do not know the parents of Thomas Wilson, Sr. We have a Cherokee Dawes enrollment application where a Lilli Peck is claiming Cherokee blood through her Grandmother, Mrs. Wilson, down through our Thomas Wilson, SR., so Thomas may have some degree of Cherokee Blood from his mother. We do believe his father was white. You are the first post that I have seen with Wilson's in the Cherokee Nation (GA, TN, SC etc) before the Cherokee Removal in 1838. Would you have any more info on Your John Wilson or his family and how they came to be in the Cherokee Nation, etc? Any help would be appreciated. Patty
NOTE: VA. to SC Most Virginia Wilson's decended from Gilbert Wilson. Besides Margaret who was martyed for her Covenanter Faith, she had brothers John, Thomas, and Gilbert in addition to a sister Agnes. Gilbert Wilson was the grandfather of the Reverend William Wilson. By being in Craven County, S.C., they may have had their land surveyed by the the surveyor William Wilson. In the casdastral records (deeds and plats) you can determine which surveyor signed the plat. Re: Wilsons in old Tryon (then York, now Cherokee) SC. NOTE: Who was this Thomas Wilson married to?
Ireland and SC and GA. 1739 Charles Wilson was born in 1739 in Strabane, Ireland. He died 9 June 1820 in Laurens Distict, South Carolina. He married Elizabeth (Simpson) in Ireland in 1767. In August 1772, Charles Wilson and Elizabeth with three of Elizabeth's sisters and their husbands sailed from Larne, Ireland aboard the snow "James and Mary" to Charleston, SC. Charles Wilson and Elizabeth's third child James Wilson who was born in Craven County, SC in 1775. In 1775, the land that Charles Wilson had surveyed in 1773 was on King's Creek in what is now Newberry County, SC. After the Revolutionary War in 1786, Charles Wilson acquired 350 acres on the Laurens-Newberry side of the Saluda River near the Old Star Fort where the Craven County Militia was headquartered. In 1820 when Charles Wilson died, he was living on this property. Their seventh child Thomas Wilson was living with his wife Mary (?) 6 miles from Jonesboro in Henry County, Georgia. I do not know when Thomas Wilson was born, but probably during the Revolutionary War Period. He may be the father of your Thomas or one his brothers may have had a child named Thomas Wilson . James' 15th child was named Thomas Wilson but he was born after the date of the birth of your Thomas Wilson . The early Wilsons had big families and tended to name their children after their grandparents, parents, and brothers and sisters. The names William, John, James, Benjamin, Hugh, Thomas, and Charles are very popular. NOTE: If Charles Wilson had ? seven children, what are their names, and if James Wilson had ? fifteen children what are their names?
Ga. Another possible sibling of John Wilson, Sr., of Saluda River was THOMAS WILSON (1750/60-1835), of Hall Co., Ga., with wife Angess Wilson; his Hall County will, dated 4 November 1835, probated 4 January 1837, was witnessed by William E. Wilson (son of Robert and grandson of the subject John Wilson, Sr.). As John Wilson, Sr., of Saluda River had dau. Agness, it is possible that she was the wife of this Thomas Wilson, rather than this Thomas being a brother of the subject John. Thomas and Agness Wilson were living in Hall County by 1820. Two others Thomas Wilsons were in Hall Co., Ga., 1830 Census: Thomas born 1780-90, and Thomas C., born 1800-10. One of these three Thomas Wilsons must have been the Thomas Wilson who was a licensed preacher in Hall County in 1830.

Ireland to SC and GA. 1772 Charles Wilson and Elizabeth (Simpson) Wilson who came to Craven County, SC aboard the "James and Mary" from Larne, Ireland in 1772. They had a son, John, who left Laurens District, SC after 1820. They had another son, Thomas Wilson , who was in Henry County, Georgia in 1820. I am descended from their older brother, James, who was born in 1775 and is buried at Midway Presbyterian Church in Anderson County, SC. I am interested in your SC connection for John. Please e-mail me at [email protected]. I do not have any more information on John, but I am willing to share plenty of information on the other members of the family. Ireland to SC 1772 Charles Wilson and Elizabeth (Simpson) Wilson who came with a congregation of Reformed Presbyterians (Covenanters) from Larne, Ireland in 1772. Charles' original land was located on King's Creek in what is now Newberry County, SC. It was part of Craven County, SC in 1772. Charles was in the Craven County SC Militia. His military records, deeds, and will are in the SC Arcives in Columbia, SC. Hugh may be a brother or descendant. In 1772 they were fighting Cherokee Indians. The Cherokees had allied with France in the French and Indian War. Land in Craven County was being given to Protestants to provide a buffer between the Cherokees and the Low Country of South Carolina. In 1775, the Craven County Militia drove the last of the Cherokees from South Carolina in a battle near the Saluda River in what is now Laurens County, South Carolina. The Craven County Militia was headquartered in the OLD STAR FORT at Ninety-Six, SC. In 1776, they went to Charleston, SC to repel the first British Invasion of Charleston. They were successful and the British turned their attention to conquering the North. The Craven County Militia under Col. James Williams returned to the upcountry to drive the British Garrison under Major Ferguson from the Old Star Fort at Ninety - Six, SC. By 1781 the British had conquered the North and under Lord Cornwallis they returned to try to conquer South Carolina. At Camden, Cornwallis annilated most of the Low Country SC Militia under General Thomas Sumpter. Cornwallis continued up the Catawba River towards Charlotte, NC. At the battle of King's Mountain just inside the SC state line and approximately 20 miles from Charlotte, NC, he met the Craven County Militia under now General James Williams. Both General Williams and Major Anderson were killed that day in 1781, but Cornwallis began his retreat to Yorktown. The tide of the Revolutionary War had been turned. After the Revolutionary War, Charles Wilson and Elizabeth established a new home across the Saluda River from the Old Star Fort on the Newberry - Laurens County Line. His wife's cousins were threatening to kill him if he returned to his original tract of land. The Revolutionary War was truly the Civil War with Neighbors fighting Neighbors. Charles and Elizbeth are buried in the original Little River Reformed Presbyterian Cemetery on the Laurens-Newberry County Line approximately two miles east of Belfast House. NOTE: Not known if my Thomas Wilson lived in Ga. Charles and Elizabeth Simpson Wilson who arrived in Charleston, SC in 1772 from Larne, Ireland. Their seventh child born in 1786 was Thomas Lewers Wilson. Thomas was born in either Newberry District or Laurens District in South Carolina. Scotland, Ireland and SC 1775 James Wilson who was born in 1775 in what is now Newberry County,South Carolina was buried in 1858 in Anderson County, South Carolilna. He is buried with his wife Mary (?) in the Midway Presbyterian Cemetery in Anderson County. His third son was named Charles. Charles is a common name in the Wilson family from South Carolina. NOTE: Charles Wilson, the son of James Wilson who was born in 1775 and buried at Midway Presbyterian Church cemetery in Anderson County, S. C., was alive in 1820 when his grandfather, Charles Wilson died. He is left $100.00 in his grandfather's will for being a namesake. Maybe a son or grandson of this Charles Wilson would take a bride born in 1867. Most South Carolina Wilson's descend from the Reverend William Wilson who was born near Glasgow, Scotland in 1690. He was one of the founders in 1733 of the Associate Presbyterian Church. He is buried in the Presbyterian Church cemetery in Perth, Scotland. He had two daughters and a son. His only son, John, went to Northern Ireland and had a large family. Many of his children came to South Carolina in the 1700's. John's son, William Wilson , was a surveyor in Craven County, South Carolina. He located many of his sibling in South Carolina. Among them were John, Benjamin, Hugh, Charles, James, Thomas, and maybe Samuel. These early South Carolina Wilson's had large families and tended to name their children after their brothers.

She was born 1770, and died Bef. 1840 in Jackson County, Alabama. Notes for WILLIAM WILSON: Under the treaty of Calhoun dated July 8, 1817 white men we empowered to claim reservations of land in Jackson County Alabama based on their wives status as Cherokee indians. Accordingly on July 11, 1818 William Wilson was awarded reservation #128 on the Flint River "in the right of his wife" with a family of 3. This means that Hulde (Hulda) was a Cherokee Indian. This comes down through her mother who was a Cherokee Indian. Her mother was Lucretia Wilson who married Aquila Sherrill. Author: Pat Finnell Date: 4 Jul 2001 11:05 PM In Reply to: Lucretia Wiilson and daughter Hulde by: Linda Goda .....I don't believe the William Wilson who obtained one of the Wilson Reservations on the Flint River in Madison Co AL in right of his wife and the Thomas Wilson who also obtained Reservation same place (a few miles north of William) in his own right are the family of Hulda (Sherrill) and William Wilson. Their son Thomas Wilson at least came into Jackson Co 1819, then back and forth to Franklin Co TN for the next 14 years. William joined Mud Creek Church in Jackson Co by June 1820 about 30 miles from the Reservation. Had the reservationist moved the 30 or so miles to the Bellefonte area he would have lost his Reservation land. June 28 1823 the William Wilson with Reservation and others petitioned for fee simply title. The Thomas Wilson Reservation was granted in fee simple in 1819 under a different treaty. In 1830 there were 3 Williams in Jackson Co and 1 in Madison Co. Major Thomas Wilson freely acknowledged and raised his mulatto grandson b. 1864 but never said anything about Indian parentage, and apparently he was a great talker. Also none of these Wilsons is on the 1835 Indian census Jackson Co - I could not locate the Madison Co enumeration due to the extremely poor quality of the microfilm......One other point that should be clarified, Hulda (Sherrill) Wilson died after 1829, but before 1840. She is included in William's hh 1830 but not 1840 census. A new membership list of Mud Creek Church was drawn up 1829, her name was on it. The clerk then added names as new members joined and made notations as members died, moved or were dropped from membership. Children of WILLIAM WILSON and HULDAH SHERRILL are: 144....i....THOMAS JACKSON WILSON, b. December 11, 1799, Greene County, Tennessee; d. October 18, 1892, Jackson County, Alabama....ii....ISAAC WILSON.

SC 1801 William H (or possibly M) Wilson (1801-1828) was married (1827) to Elizabeth Margaret (Kirton) (1811-1829) in Waccamaw, SC. She was the daughter of Thomas Kirton Jr (1788-1823) and Elizabeth (Rice) (1783-1863), but William's ancestry is far more mysterious. They were the parents of Maria Louisa Wilson (1828-1902), the wife of James Peter Walker (1822-1864). William had evidently been previously married to Elizabeth's older sister Maria Louisa (Kirton) (1809-1826), the parents of Benjamin Thomas Wilson (1826-1899). William's mother Martha (?) (1783-1858) was married first to William's father, and 2nd to William Griffin Linerieux (1785-1852). Any info would be appreciated, especially concerning William Wilson and his mother Martha (?) , who is buried in the churchyard cemetery across from Duncan Memorial Methodist Church in Georgetown, SC.
SC to GA. 1803 Wilsons in Walker Co, Georgia from South Carolina I am looking for information on the Wilson families of Walker County, Georgia that originated from South Carolina, most likely the Abbeville Area. I am trying to find out who the parents of John Wilson b 1803 SC are. In 1850 I find him in Walker County, GA with his wife Maranda (?) age 39 and children: Mary C (1837), Walter Webster (1840), John C. (1842), James L (1844), Thomas G (1847), William H T (1849). In 1860 he had a daughter listed: Theron S (1854). John died before 1880, but Miranda is listed in the newspapers there as late as 1 Dec 1887. Walter Webster, John C and James L were all in the Civil War together and were captured at Vicksburg. I believe that James Lewis) Wilson is my gg grandfather. I find James L Wilson in Gwinnett County, Georgia in 1870 shortly after his marriage to Elizabeth Johnson. They later moved to Craighead County, Arkansas. I have James Wilson born 27 Jan 1844 in Walker Co, GA and died 20 Dec 1935 in Jonesboro, Craighead County, Arkansas. I have been trying to figure out if John is a son or nephew of the Wilson brothers listed on the 1850 Walker Co census. Matthew b (ca 1775) and George (b ca ca 1771) Any help would be appreciated. NOTE This is not the right time frame for my Thomas Wilson.

SC 1809 Hi, Ann - I am trying to trace my Wilson family back to Leicester. I wonder if we have connections. My oldest ancestor traced so far is Thomas Wilson, born 1809 in SC, married to Elizabeth (Campbell) . Y-DNA tests found a match with the Armstrong family of Leicester, so I am following up on the clue to see if I can find my Wilsons there. Linda Pound

Ireland to SC 1820 Larne, Ireland is a seaport in Northern Ireland. Charles Wilson died in 1820. His will, military records, and deeds are on file in the SC Archives in Columbia, SC. Charles was Scotch-Irish. Hugh would have had to be a son or grandson. Charles and Elizabeth had many children. In Charles' will probated in 1820, one of his children was Thomas Hugh Wilson of Newberry County SC. This may be your Hugh or his father. Before 1908, SC did not have marriage licences. Records of marriages, baptisms, and deaths were recorded in Church Session Records. The group that Charles Wilson came over with was the Congregation of a Reformed Presbyterian Church lead by their paster, Robert McClintock, an ordained Reformed Presbyterian Minister. In Ireland, their meeting place was near Belfast. Rev. McClintock established and is buried in the cemetery of what is now Ora Associate Reformed Presbyterian (ARP) Church in Ora, SC in Laurens County. After the Revolutionary War the Associate and Reformed Presbyterians united to form the Associate Reformed Presbyterian Church. Not all Associate and not all Reformed Presbyterian Churches agreed to the merger. Before the War between the States, the remaining Associate and ARP churches in the North united to form the United Presbyterian Church in the USA. Only the Southern Synod kept the name ARP. In 1865, many Southern Presbyterins formed the Southern Presbyterian Church. In 1987, the Southern Presbyterian Church merged with the Northern Church leaving the ARP as a separate denomination. In 1816 when Hugh married, it was probably in an ARP Church. That church today may be ARP, PCUSA, or PCA today. I would suggest starting with Kings's Creek ARP and Little RIVER PCUSA in Newberry County. Note: Not Known if my Thomas Wilson had a Middle name.
NC 1820 In the name of God Amen I Ann (?) Wilson farmer of the County of Orange State of North Carolina being low in health but in sound mind & memory thanks be given unto God calling into mind the mortality of my body knowing that is apointed for all men once to die do make and ordain this my last will & testatment that is to say principally first of all I give or recommend my soul into the hands of Almighty God that gave it and my body I recommend to the earth to be buried in christian burial at the descretion of my executors nothing doubting but at the general resurrection I shall regain the same again by the mighty power of God & as touching such worldly estate wherewith he had blessed me in this life I give demise & dispose of the same on the following manner & form. First I give & bequeath to my son John Wilson twenty dollars - I also I give & bequeath to my granddaughter Polly that lives with me her choice of pewter plates six in number two pewter dishes & one large basin & also I give & bequeath to my granddaughter Bekey that lives with me one bed of furniture & two pewter dishes & five pewter plates & one heifer called brenda - Also to my grandson Robert Wilkinsons one cow - Also I give to my son Thomas Wilson one dollar - Also I give to my son Caleb one dollars also I give to my son-in-law John Wilkinson five shillings - Also I give to my son James Wilson ten dollars - Also I give to my daughter Elizabeth Wilson my stand of drawers & two beds of furniture & one cow & all the pewter not before named & after my debts is paid & my property below named is divided I allow the balance of all my property to my daughter Elizabeth Wilson. Also I constitute make & ordain Thomas Wilson & Elizabeth Wilson the sole executors of this my last will & testament & I do hererby utterly disallow revoke & disannull all every other former testaments will legacies bequests & executors by me in any wise before named wills & bequeaths ratifying & confirming this no other to be my last will & testament in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand seal this twenty seventh day of August in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred twenty signed sealed published pronounced & declared by the said Ann Wilson as her last will & testament in the presence of us in hers & in the presence of each other have hererunto subscribed our names witness Joseph Latta Ann [X] Wilson Caleb Wilson In the file folder of the Lord Granville Land grant to Robert Wilson is filed a survey drawing and certificate in the name of Ann Latty, whom we are assuming became his wife. The witness to this includes James Latty and the date is too early to be some of the James Latta's who came to North Carolina later in Orange County. Branch 6 from the source below documents the presence of a James Latta who came to NC early about 1725 and was possibly one of the original brothers who arrived in the Philadelphia area and the first to go to NC. But whether the James Latta who was witness was her father or a brother is undetermined. Possibly she acquired the right to a survey by previous payment by her father who then died or by sponorship of a brother who intended the land for a dowery. Some people are put off by why a survey would be drawn in a woman's name, and although it is unusual it did occur on occasion. NOTE: The time frame is right to be my Polly????? Who were the parents of this Polly? But not my Polly, my Polly was born a Boseman. Who was this Thomas Wilson married to?

SC and Alabama 1830 Re: Washington Wilson in Walker County, AL Do you know where this Washington Wilson lived in Walker County? My gggrandfather, Thomas Wilson was born in 1830 in SC, and apparently, the family moved to the Gap Post Office area of Walker County (near present-day Arkadelphia?). There has been speculation that he lived near a Washington Wilson, as well as an older Thomas Wilson. He married Esther Hettie (Graves), daughter of Hiram Graves, in DeKalb County in 1851 with B. F. Wilson as witness. Speculation is that B. F. Wilson was his brother. Note: Unfortunately, nothing is known of the rest of this family as far as I know. NC 1843 Here is some information on Thomas J. Wilson of Kernersville, NC. WILLIAM FRANKLIN STOCKTON(6) (Born August 30, 1813 in Kernersville, North Carolina - Died November 2, 1876 in Kernersville, North Carolina at 63 years old) was a son of Doughty Stockton(5). He married Nancy Wilson. Nancy (Wilson) Stockton’s father was Thomas J. Wilson. Thomas J. Wilson built a two story hewn timber house 10 miles East of Winston Salem, North Carolina in the early 19th century. It features one original chimney with a lozenge design. Thomas Wilson, a non-Moravian, was selected to run the Salem Tavern in 1843, but he died before he began his duties. The Salem Tavern was located in Old Salem which is now a part of Winston-Salem, North Carolina. He had rented his “house and plantation” to another family when he moved to Salem, so the Moravians allowed Mrs. Wilson and her son, Thomas J. Wilson, Jr., to remain as keepers of the Salem Tavern until 1844. In 1848 Thomas J. Wilson, Jr., sold the family farm to William Franklin Stockton. Thomas J. Wilson, Jr. built a house just north of Salem. In 1913, the Townsend family bought the farm from the Stockton heirs. In the 1920s the interior of the Wilson-Stockton House was altered substantially, and in 1963 the front porch was added. The Wilson-Stockton House is listed in the official inventory of historic properties of Forsyth County. “Due to the connection, not sure if Elizabeth (Oliver) Wilson, wife of Archibald Dicks Stockton(8), is related in some way to Nancy (Wilson) Stockton”. William Franklin Stockton and Nancy (Wilson) Stockton are both buried at the Friedland Moravian Church grave yard in South Winston-Salem. They had one son and two daughters. The son is John M. or W. Stockton. 1. John M. Stockton(7) Born August 10, 1845 in Kernersville, NC Died August 22, 1910 in Kernersville, NC Married Phoebe Adkins 1. Cornillus Lee Stockton(8) Born June 2, 1868 in Kernersville, NC Died July 25, 1936 in Kernersville, NC Married Ada Grubbs 1. Ralph Franklin Stockton(9) Born January 16, 1917 in Kernersville, NC Died December 20, 1997 in Kernersville, NC. Married Betty Sue Mabe Note: wrong time frame to be my Thomas Wilson.

SC., TENN., MS. 1850 Wilsons of Newberry Co., SC, Marshall Co., TN, and Winston Co., MS After years and years of searching, I have finally identified my gggrandfather THOMAS PRATT WILSON's parents as FRANCIS Wilson and MARGARET (?) WILSON of 1850 Newberry Co., SC. They are listed as "Poorhouse Keepers" in the 1850 Census. Their children were listed as Jane E. Wilson , Margaret A. Wilson , Thomas Wilson , Mary P. Wilson , and Sarah F. Wilson... Dena , Linda , and Eleanor have helped me trace them to Winston Co. MS, by 1860. Thomas Wilson had already taught school in Marshall County, Tennessee, and had married Rebecca Leah (Dysart ) and had Baby Margaret Alice Wilson by then. I have at least three questions if anyone can please help me: 1. Does anyone know anything about the parents, grandparents, national origin, etc. of this Francis Wilson, the Poorhouse Keeper? 2. I know Francis' wife's name was Margaret, but can anyone positively identify her with the Fleming family? Someone told me that her sister married Thomas Montgomery of Marshall County (Palmetto Community), Tennessee, formerly of Newberry County, SC. 3. Can anyone identify this family of Wilsons and possibly Montgomerys and Flemings to a Dianna(h) Wilson. She married (1) John Montgomery, a schoolteacher, and (2) a Mr. Titus or possibly North. Mr. North could possibly have come from New York State. It is a family tradition that she could have possibly been an Indian princess. I will forever be indebted to anyone who can help me. Contact me at [email protected] . Many thanks in advance. Sincerely, William R. (Bill) Massey of Lewisburg/Marshall Co., TN NOTE: Need info on this Thomas Wilson..Don't think this is my Thomas Wilson though.
Ga., SC, and Miss. 1860 Thomas Wilson was born in South Carolina according to the 1860 Census of Lafayette, Jackson Co., Mississippi. He was 70 years old and living with his son, also named Thomas, Note: This would have Thomas being born about 1790 if his age was 70. . His occupation is given as Wheelwright. Two other sons live nearby. Pleasant Wilson , who married Nancy (Kinney) in Alabama (1844) and William Wilson who is unmarried and living with a family for whom he works. These sons of Thomas Wilson were born in Georgia. Pleasant Wilson was born in 1820. William Wilson was born about 1835. Pleasant Wilson died in the Civil War and his family moved to Calif. The children of Thomas Jr., moved to Texas. Details are not known about William or if there were other siblings. I hope to find a wife and parents for Thomas Sr., and hopefully more siblings if any. If this sounds familiar to anyone, please contact me!!!
