Hi Sharon.
West Union is a small town near Walhalla in Oconee County.The population there in the year 2000 was 297.
For the year you have referred to (1845), this area was known as part of the Pendleton District. It was also one of the last areas of indian lands to be lost to the white man, just 6 years after they were forced from their homes, and it was sparsely populated.
There are few marriage records for that time.What are the names of the people in the marriage records?
