Hi Brandy.I am not related.Just like to help when I can.I found several Greens' at SC Archives (including a Richard and a Richard Sr.).The following may help.If you think I can help more, my e-address is posted.
This link will take you to many Oconee links:
www.cviog.uga.edu/Projects/gainfo/oconeelinks2.htm
You can researchONLINE(Free)at the
SOUTH CAROLINA DEPT. OF ARCHIVES AND HISTORY.
Here you can find Names and dates INDEXED within
documents such as WILLS, CONFEDERATE CLAIMS,
LAND PLATS, etc.In rare cases you can view the actual
document.(Look for Images button)
But mostly you just see what is indexed in the document.
I suggest searching for surnames only and don't enter a
date.(You will get better results.)Use the highlighter
in your browser to search for given and surnames.

Also, the following link will take you to the
OLD PENDLETON DATABASE.This is
a large file and takes awhile to download,
but if you are looking for families in SC,
you may find them here.Scroll to the
bottom of the first page to download it.
