Seeking information about the parents of Lorenzo Jackson Taylor

Lorenzo Jackson Taylor was born on May 25, 1815 in Lexington, SC. His father was William Taylor and his mother Mary Unknown. (I would like to find out, of course, the maiden name of Mary.) Lorenzo's wife was Anna Maria Wingard. Lorenzo and Anna (a.k.a Anna Mary and Mary Anna) moved from South Carolina to Macon, Georgia, about 1838, and lived in Georgia until about 1864.

I would like to know more about Lorenzo, and more about his parents William Taylor and Mary Unknown. I would like to find out who their ancestors were.

Related families include: Bickley, Ochs, Dreher, and, of course, Wingard.

Also, it seems possible that these Taylors of South Carolina and Georgia may have been connected with these families of Russell County, Virginia: Taylor, Bays, Webb, and Jackson.

I would greatly appreciate any help.
