I have a connection to a James Elerbe Brown born 9 Oct. 1851; died 30 April 1927; buried at Bethany Baptist Church in Lee County (Bishopville, SC). He married Sarah E. 'Sallie' Bell born 24 Oct. 1849; died 6 Feb. 1927; also buried at Bethany.
1880 Census of Spring Hill- Sumter District- James, Sarah, Catherine age 5, Infant son age 2/12
1900 Census of Shiloh- Sumter District- James, Sallie, George W. age 20 (son)
1910 Census of Spring Hill- Lee County- James E., Sarah AND living next door George W., Addie, George L. age 3
1920 Census of St. Charles- Lee County- James E. and Sarah
Would you happen to know anything about this particular Brown family? Any information at all will be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance.
