Dorothy, i looked in the Lee co. cemetery survey book and there is not a Harriett Dubose Stokes listed. Do you have her Husbands name I am also researching Stokes. there is a page on captain Peter DuBose it is a Historical Marker if you want me to send what it says and where it is located let me know. I also looked in the Kershaw co. Cemetery Survey Books all 3 volumns. She is not listed there either. But her marker could have been lost or distroyed over the years.If i can Help you further please let me know
But in the 1850 census of kershaw co with extended genealogical information it has.Hiram Stokes , b. 1810 m, Harriett ? b. 1810 - living 1870, kershaw co. and it lists thier children.If you want this family please email me at mpeebles2@charter.net
